SCHOOL POLICIES
Tuition and Registration
Enrollment fees require an upfront payment of a Tuition plan, an Annual registration fee, and an Initial book/materials package. Payments and books are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tuition credits can be transferred to another member of the student's family or donated.
Payment Methods
Tuition and Registration Fees are processed through credit/debit cards or bank accounts on an autopay system. A 3.5% surcharge fee applies to credit/debit card tuition payments. If your payment information has changed, please inform us immediately. If an autopay is declined due to a bank or credit card issue, a late fee of $25 will be applied to your payment.
Tardy Arrival
WePlay Music is not responsible for the loss of time should the student arrive late to his/her/their lesson.
Student Absence
In case of a student's absence, we request to be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Please note that we do not offer make-up lessons. However, as an alternative, students are encouraged to take advantage of our master classes, performance classes, and workshops, which are held regularly. These sessions provide an enriching experience and an excellent way to make up for missed instructional time.
Teacher's Absences or school fault
In the event of a teacher's absence, a substitute teacher will be assigned to the student's regularly scheduled lesson. Students who refuse the substitute teacher will still be charged for the lesson. If we cannot provide a substitute, an alternative lesson time will be offered with the regular teacher. If a lesson is missed or interrupted due to an error on WePlay Music's part, such as scheduling mishaps, the student will be offered a makeup lesson or credit, as deemed appropriate.
Multiple Consecutive Absences:
If a student misses three consecutive lessons without prior notice, WePlay Music reserves the right to review their enrollment and may consider discontinuing lessons without a refund. Communication is essential to ensure continuity in learning.
Withdrawal Policy
Student enrollment is continuous. To discontinue enrollment, it is required to notify WePlay Music at least 30 days before the last scheduled lesson. Students are only considered completely withdrawn upon submission of the withdrawal form. Verbal notice won't be accepted.
Holiday Closures and Vacations
All school closures and holidays will be communicated via email or phone call. If you plan to travel or take a vacation, kindly inform the front desk by submitting a vacation form at least two weeks in advance. Vacations can only be taken during December/January and June/August and are limited to two weeks per period.
Student Drop-Off and Safety
When bringing your child to music lessons, please ensure they make it to their lesson and the teacher is present. Do not drop off your child in the parking lot or leave them unattended. WePlay Music and its teachers and staff are not responsible for unattended students before and/or after classes/lessons.
